I value my fortune to have lived in Prince Albert now for 25 years - of which 21 years (Kontrei has come of age!) have been as an independent estate agent.

I arrived from Johannesburg in this unique little village at the foot of the world-renowned Swartberg Pass, in 1986. Prince Albert and its people have been a blessing in my life and I just love "my" town. This amazing village offers breathtaking scenic beauty, diamond bright stars; the purest air, valuable erven with precious water rights; lush gardens and friendly townsfolk. The historic character of the town is represented in 18 National Monuments, beautiful Victorian homes, Karoo style cottages and an excellent museum.

I have witnessed the astonishing growth in the town's property market and am happy to report that real estate has been and still is an excellent investment - even in the most taxing of times.

The town has an independent municipality, a functional hospital with two doctors - and a third in private practise. We boast an excellent library, award-winning post office, well-run magistrate's court, and a truly lively cultural and social life.

Farmers, academics, artists, eccentrics, professionals, retirees, cyclists, photographers, artisans, lay workers, ordinary people ... we all live amicably together in our beautiful, peaceful haven.

Through all these years I have had hundreds of customers - I sold some houses five times over, and with one couple I concluded eleven deals. I am proud of my many "word of mouth" references.
